Learn Chemistry Directly From an Examiner

Most students lose 15 to 25 marks on their A-Level Chemistry papers not because they didn't study, but because they wrote vague explanations that fail official marking schemes. Examiners don't have time to guess what you meant — they look for exact scientific terminology and rigorous multi-step working.

Having moderated and marked thousands of A-Level papers, I show students the precise wording, unit checks, and structural steps required to secure top marks. In our small Sunday group of 6, no student sits quietly with misunderstood concepts — we resolve every issue immediately.

What Parents & Students Say

Read how targeted examiner guidance turns predicted C/B grades into medical school A/A* achievements.

"My son was stuck on a grade C in Year 12 Chemistry, particularly struggling with thermodynamics and equilibrium calculations. Joining Fiaraz's small group made an immediate difference. The small group format meant he couldn't hide in the background, and Fiaraz picked up on tiny calculation habits that were costing him marks. He achieved an A* and is now reading Medicine at Leeds."

Dr. S. Patel

Parent • Son achieved Grade A* in AQA Chemistry

"The Sunday 7pm time slot is ideal — it sets you up with total confidence for the school week ahead. Fiaraz explains organic mechanisms and NMR spectroscopy far better than my school teachers. Being in a group of only 5 or 6 students gave me the exact balance of personalised feedback and hearing other students ask questions I hadn't thought of."

Amira K.

Year 13 Student • Predicted A* (OCR A Chemistry)

"At £35 an hour, the value is unbeatable compared to private tutors charging £80 who aren't even examiners. Fiaraz marks homework thoroughly every single week with handwritten annotations. The difference in my daughter's test scores in school was noticeable within three weeks."

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the Sunday A-Level Chemistry class.

When does the Sunday class run?
The class runs every Sunday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM UK Time (GMT/BST). The Sunday evening time allows students to consolidate their week's work and walk into school on Monday with absolute clarity on challenging concepts.
How much does it cost and how do payments work?
The fee is £35 per hour session. Payments can be handled weekly or as a monthly block via direct bank transfer or secure Stripe checkout. There are no punitive long-term tie-ins or registration fees.
How can it be personalised if there are up to 6 students?
A maximum limit of 6 students is strictly enforced. In a cohort of 6, every student's microphone is live, students interact directly on shared digital whiteboards, and Fiaraz personally inspects each student's calculations during the independent practice segment. In addition, students can request specific topics and receive individually marked homework every week.
Which exam boards do you cover?
The class covers all major UK exam boards including AQA (7404/7405), OCR A (H432), and Edexcel (9CH0). The underlying chemical calculations, reaction mechanisms, and mark scheme standards are identical, and Fiaraz highlights board-specific nuances whenever applicable.
What if my child misses a Sunday lesson?
If a student has to miss a session due to illness or family commitments, they receive the complete annotated whiteboard notes, question pack with step-by-step model mark schemes, and session recap material. They can also submit their homework for marking and ask questions in the private WhatsApp group.
How do I reserve a place for my son or daughter?
Because places are strictly capped at 6 students, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You can message Fiaraz directly on WhatsApp at 07760 257814 or click the green button below to reserve a spot.
